COLLECTION OF ANCIENT JEWELRY

CYPRO-ARCHAIC AND CYPRO-CLASSICAL PERIODS, 8TH - 4TH CENTURY BC

Collected in Cyprus prior to 1940, this group is comprised of a strand of Phoenician glass and Egyptian faience beads, a gold funerary diadem, a domed gold jewelry boss, four unpaired gold earrings, and two scarabs (one faience).  The scarabs are likely modern.
