A cast metal table lamp rising from a tiered rectangular base to a model of the famous Frankart “nymph” female figure turned in profile and holding a frosted glass disc. The lamp fully functional with original “Verde” green paint, period bulb, and original cord.

Arthur Von Frankenberg worked in New York as an artist and sculptor in the first decades of the 20th century, and became famous for his Art Deco decorative accessories such as lamps, ashtrays, vases, and candlesticks. He found particular inspiration in the English model, Leone Osborne, who became his muse for a wide variety of items including this lamp.
